understand the risks, obligations and protective practices that apply in the workplace, with particular emphasis on the production, storage and use of paints, coatings and construction materials.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"887\" data-end=\"983\">Through examples, analyses and real-life scenarios, trainees will understand:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1625\">\n<li data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1085\">\n<p data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1085\">What occupational risk, workplace accidents and occupational diseases are,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1172\">\n<p data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1172\">What the consequences are for employees, businesses and society,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1259\">\n<p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1259\">What the legal framework is and what obligations apply to employers and employees,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1375\">\n<p data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1375\">Which are the most important chemical, physical, ergonomic and electrical hazards, and how they can be prevented,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1445\">\n<p data-start=\"1378\" data-end=\"1445\">How Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should be used correctly,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1536\">\n<p data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1536\">What emergency procedures and technical fire safety measures are required,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1625\">\n<p data-start=\"1539\" data-end=\"1625\">How an Occupational Health &amp; Safety Management System, such as ISO 45001, is applied in practice.\u03a0\u03ce\u03c2 \u03b5\u03c6\u03b1\u03c1\u03bc\u03cc\u03b6\u03b5\u03c4\u03b1\u03b9 \u03c3\u03c4\u03b7\u03bd \u03c0\u03c1\u03ac\u03be\u03b7 \u03ad\u03bd\u03b1 <strong data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1624\">\u03a3\u03cd\u03c3\u03c4\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1 \u0394\u03b9\u03b1\u03c7\u03b5\u03af\u03c1\u03b9\u03c3\u03b7\u03c2 \u03a5\u03b3\u03b5\u03af\u03b1\u03c2 &amp; \u0391\u03c3\u03c6\u03ac\u03bb\u03b5\u03b9\u03b1\u03c2 (ISO 45001)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1627\" data-end=\"1685\">The course content includes thematic units on:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1686\" data-end=\"2160\">\n<li data-start=\"1686\" data-end=\"1731\">\n<p data-start=\"1688\" data-end=\"1731\">Chemical hazards and CLP legislation,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1732\" data-end=\"1784\">\n<p data-start=\"1734\" data-end=\"1784\">Working at height and musculoskeletal strain,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1785\" data-end=\"1825\">\n<p data-start=\"1787\" data-end=\"1825\">Electricity and fire safety,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1826\" data-end=\"1966\">\n<p data-start=\"1828\" data-end=\"1966\">Specific Occupational Health &amp; Safety topics such as noise, vibration, thermal stress, ergonomics, psychosocial factors and emergency procedures,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"2160\">\n<p data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2160\">As well as a specialised chapter on Health &amp; Safety in Paints, Coatings and Construction Materials, covering issues such as VOC inhalation, storage, transportation, PPE use and hazardous substances.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2162\" data-end=\"2368\">The course is based on the current requirements of European and Greek legislation, combining theory, examples, videos, NAPO
