It contains all the technical information and guidelines required and ensures the smooth, flawless painting process to satisfy all stakeholders. Institute members, with a high level of training and many years of experience in the coating industry, are in a position to understand all of the painting steps, the materials and various techniques used in preparation and application.<\/p>\n<p>The specifications must be clear for all stakeholders \u2013 the project developer, the contractor, technical personnel, paint companies \u2013 as that is the only way to ensure that the bid submission process goes smoothly and that ultimately the most advantageous bid for a project wins the award. The specifications of a project also function as legal documents in the event of a dispute.
