Safe Use of Diisocyanates – Basic Training

This course constitutes the official Basic Training required under Regulation (EU) 2020/1149 for all professionals and technicians who use products containing more than 0.1% diisocyanates.

Through explanatory videos, real-life examples and assessment questions, participants will understand:

• the hazards associated with the use of diisocyanates,

• the correct application and cleaning practices,

• the proper selection and use of PPE,

• the management of spills and waste,

• as well as the legal requirement for certified training.

The programme is specifically tailored to the paints, construction materials and waterproofing industries, and is based on the training modules defined by Regulation (EU) 2020/1149 and Annex XVII of REACH.

Upon completion of the course, participants will:

• will know the basic principles of safe handling and storage,
• will understand the importance of prevention and behavioural safety,
• will obtain documented proof of training (certification), recognised in the event of an inspection by the competent authorities.
