Safe use of Diisocyanates – Basic Training

This course provides the official Basic Training required under Regulation (EU) 2020/1149 for all professionals and technicians handling products containing more than 0.1% diisocyanates by weight.

Through explanatory videos, real-life examples, and knowledge assessments, participants will gain a clear understanding of:

• the health and safety risks associated with diisocyanate use,

• the correct application and cleaning procedures,

• the selection and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE),

• the management of spills and waste,

• and the legal obligation for certified training under REACH.

The program is specifically tailored for the paints, building materials, and sealants industries, and follows the structure and learning outcomes defined by Regulation (EU) 2020/1149 and Annex XVII of REACH.

Upon completion of the course, participants will:
-understand the fundamental principles of safe handling and storage,
-recognise the importance of prevention and behaviour-based safety,
-obtain documented proof of training (certification), officially recognised in the event of inspection by competent authorities.
