About us

The Institute of Coating Technologies (IoCT) is a groundbreaking initiative in Greece, spearheaded by academics and senior management engaged in the paint and coating industry. The Institute’s driving force is the need for training, improvements and research in this sector.

Through the accumulated knowledge and experience in each area of the coating industry – from the use of raw materials to application and inspection – the Institute is a point of reference for any requirement. As such, one of its key activities is training professionals who are directly or indirectly involved in this field, as it aims to support professional and specialised coating application.

Goals & Vision

Evolving

The IoCT’s vision is the advancement of professionals and all stakeholders in the paint and coating industry, with the aim of fundamentally elevating its status. Meeting that need through a number of – mainly educational – actions is the Institutes primary aim.

Supporting

The Institute also seeks to play a role in finding solutions to the daily challenges in the field of applications in medium- and large-scale projects. The IoCT’s contribution to developing modern standards and promoting good practices and techniques, as these have taken shape, will assist the demanding work of applicators.

Researching

The IoCT seeks to develop and promote scientific knowledge and technically documented practices at all stages of production, distribution, preparation, application and control of coatings.
