IoCT in collaboration with the SustChem are co-organizing a 4-hour introductory seminar on the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). EPD is the most effective way of communicating the environmental impact of products in an accurate and reliable way. It transparently communicates to every interested party, the environmental impact of the product at each stage of its Life Cycle (LCA).
Although EPD is not yet a regulatory requirement, the demand for EPDs is huge, mainly due to the building certification frames LEED, BREEAM, WELL etc. As everything indicates, EPDs are going to be an integral part of building materials.
