George Primikyris from SUSTCHEM focuses on Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), which are public documents that communicate the environmental performance of a product throughout its life cycle.
EPDs are based on ISO 14025 and EN 15804-A2 standards, and their creation involves four stages: LCA study, EPD drafting, external verification, and publication on a platform. The most important stage is the LCA study, which is a methodology that assesses the environmental impacts of a product in all stages of its life cycle.
